Highway 12 near Lawton Lane

This Photograph was taken from the vicinity of Ride the Wind looking north across what is now N.C. Highway 12 toward the entrance to Lawton Lane. The building you see here was located approximately where the red box is on the map. It was moved when Spencer’s Market was built and still exists as a local business. It has a distinctive roof line.
